
David Bomberg House is located short distance away from the University's Southwark campus. It is also conveniently situated for the Tate Modern, Globe Theatre and the Borough Market area. The nearest underground station is Borough (Northern Line), an approximate 5 minute walk away. London Bridge Station (overland services) is also only a few minutes away.
This residence, non-smoking from 1 August 2010, has 289 en-suite bedrooms for postgraduate, returning and health students.
Accommodation within David Bomberg House is provided within cluster flats, mostly accommodating between 3 to 9 residents. Residents within each flat share a communal kitchen/dining area. Basic cleaning equipment, including a vacuum cleaner is also provided. All bedrooms provided at David Bomberg House are for single occupancy. All bedrooms are en-suite (shower, hand basin and toilet). The building will be non-smoking from 1 August 2010.
Other facilities provided in each bedroom are a data point allowing access to the University's intranet and the internet. Each flat and bedroom are fitted with security locks. Residents are issued with security keys to their accommodation and a swipe card allowing access to the building. There is a centrally located coin operated laundry.
