Estates Developments

This website provides details of some exciting estates developments at London South Bank University aimed at benefiting the local community as well as catering for a growing student population.

The following developments, completed in 2009, include: the weather-proofing and stabilisation of the Georgian Terraces on London Road and Borough Road (The Terraces) ; the construction of a new state-of-the-art teaching building on Keyworth Street (K2) and improvements to the public realm around our campus (Public Realm).

This website provides a context to the developments, outlines our objectives, and provides regular updates on progress on each of the projects taking place.

    The University is building a state-of-the-art building on Keyworth Street to house the Faculty of Health and Social Care and Department of Education. It will also provide facilities for the Sports and Exercise Science, part of the Academy of Sport.

    The University has undertaken it's commitment to stabilising and weather-proofing the derelict terraces along London Road and Borough Road.

    As part of the planning process for the Keyworth II, a “context for development” document has been prepared setting out opportunities for improving the campus environment and accessibility.
