Our Key Interests

  • Developing the principles, tools and techniques of the planning process
  • Creating a product in terms of new or reused buildings that is therapeutic, sustainable and responsive to future change

MSc Planning Buildings for Health: with our colleagues in the Department of The Built Environment, we offer a multi-disciplinary course for health design and construction professionals who are involved in or wish to be involved in the planning and construction or development of buildings for healthcare delivery. We bring together the training needs of the client: planner, manager, nurse or doctor with the skills of the designer: architect, contractor, engineer and project manager.
