Welcome to the London South Bank University Nursery website. The Nursery is part of the University's Residential and Catering Services department and provides 47 places available to LSBU staff and students for children between the ages of six months and five years of age. The Nursery is funded by the University and the payment of Nursery Fees by parents. It is run as a non-profit making service.
The Nursery is located in an attractive Victorian building on Borough Road at the heart of the Southwark Campus. It accommodates the different age groups in its generous internal space and has a fully developed external play area. The Nursery is staffed by a team of 13 qualified and experienced childcare professionals and is a registered day care centre with Ofsted and is regularly inspected. A copy of the last report can be obtained on-line from Ofsted or a printed copy is available to read at the Nursery.

The Nursery is open between 8.15am to 5.45pm each day except Wednesdays, when it closes at 5pm for staff development.
During recess weeks it is open from 9am to 5pm.
The Nursery closes for the University's Christmas break, for four staff training days per year and for a cleaning week in August.
