The Structure of Ice-twelve (Ice XII) and Ice-fourteen (Ice XIV)


Ice-twelve (Ice XII) This structure (below) does not have the ordered protons shown. The protons are actually randomly oriented (obeying the 'ice rules': two hydrogen atoms near each oxygen, one hydrogen atom on each O····O bond).
